about
This is one of my favorite tracks that I have ever written. I started this project back in late 2008 and stopped working on it 6 months later. I returned to working on it in early 2013, but with a slightly new idea of what it represented.
If you listen very closely, you will hear two different pianos doubling the notes. The chimes and reverberation were carefully added to assist in the feeling of a lucid dreaming state of mind. Each accented note in the final chorus represents a different story. Among the notes lay hidden themes, and mirrored ideas from some of my first projects.
This project was started on December 29th, 2008.
This track was recorded on January 11th, 2013.
Title Information:
If you haven't noticed most/all of my works have numbers in their title. Numbers were chosen as the song titles because they allowed me to work more on my music without worrying what the project name was. I would name my projects with numbers to make the process of writing easier. It wasn't long before the numbers stuck.
The significance is not the order in which they were created, but what number was the closest related to the project. Some (like #10) have to do with the day of the month in which the track was recorded. Others have deeper meanings that are completely unrelated to the date.
